◆ Meeting dates & times

– Usually the third Tuesday of each month

– Executive session at 6 p.m., Open session at 7 p.m.

◆ Public forum

– Held during every regular meeting

– Sign up in advance by calling 803-286-6972 OR sign up at the meeting

– Please limit comments to five minutes, if possible

– Comments may be on any topic related to schools except personnel; concerns about personnel should be sent to the board in writing

◆ Board membership

– 7 single-member districts

– 4-year staggered terms

– Districts 1, 3, 5, 7 elected in governor election year;

–District 2, 4, 6 elected in presidential election year
