Talking math to children a must

Research proves the importance of “talking math” to young children.
The more you talk numbers to young children, the better their math skills will be.
In fact, research seems to indicate that unless we talk numbers to children from birth, they may have great difficulty ever grasping some basic math concepts.
So we encourage parents, siblings – all relatives and caretakers of very young children to take the time to “talk math” and explain basic math concepts.
Here are two stories that tell more about the research on the connection between math and language.
“Without Language, Large Numbers Don’t Add Up“
“Talking Numbers Counts For Kids’ Math Skills“
Please read (or listen to) the story and help us spread the word about how important it is for parents to interact with their children.
