     The 2013-14 school year will begin Monday, Aug. 19, with the semester ending one week after Winter Break and the year ending Thursday, May 30.
     The board approved the calendar during its Feb. 2 planning meeting.
     ”This calendar is the calendar more than 80% of our teachers and staff voted for,” superintendent Gene Moore said, “and we believe this calendar maximizes the number of quality instructional days we have.”
