     FREE meals for youth ages 18 and younger will be available this summer at four schools in Lancaster County School District, thanks to the USDA Summer Food Service program.

     •     Andrew Jackson Middle will serve lunch only from 10:45 a.m.-12:45 p.m. June 5-29.

     •     AR Rucker Middle will serve lunch only from 10:45 a.m.-12:45 p.m. June 5-29.

     •     Brooklyn Springs Elementary will serve breakfast from 6:50-8 a.m. and lunch from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. June 5-29.

     •     Clinton Elementary will serve breakfast from 7-8 a.m. and lunch from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. June 6-30.

     •     All sites are closed on Fridays.

     •     Adults may also pay to eat for $2.30 for breakfast and $3.85 for lunch./b>.

     •     A copy of the policy is on file in the Office of School Food Services, 300 S. Catawba Street, Lancaster, SC. It may be reviewed by any interested party. For details on the program, call 803.286.6972.

     •     All children in attendance are served the same meal at no charge, regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age, or disability, and there is no discrimination in the course of the food service.

     •     To file a complaint of discrimination, write USDA, Director, Office of Adjudication, and 1400 Independence Avenue, SW, Washington, DC 20250-9410 or call toll free (866) 632-9992 (voice).

     •     Individuals who are hearing impaired or have speech disabilities may contact USDA through the Federal Relay Service at (800) 877-8339; or (800) 845-6136 (Spanish). USDA is an equal opportunity provider and employer.

    I think this is great for the children in our community who otherwise would not have anything to eat during the summer. I would love to volunteer to help out.
