A letter from our Executive Director

Dear Families and Community Members,

It is an honor to serve as Executive Director of Student Services for Lancaster County School District. Having already had the privilege of serving the students, families, and educators of our district, I am grateful for the opportunity to continue this work in a new capacity and with an even greater sense of responsibility.

Guided by our district’s commitment to putting children first, the Student Services Department is focused on turning that commitment into action and meaningful outcomes for every student, every school, every day. Our work is centered on helping students feel safe, supported, included, and prepared to succeed.

Our vision for Student Services is grounded in four priorities: setting a clear standard for excellence, aligning people and systems, closing gaps in access and opportunity, and improving outcomes for students. This means establishing high expectations for our work, strengthening collaboration among schools, families, and community partners, and ensuring that services are coordinated, responsive, and focused on student needs.

Our team supports students’ academic, social, emotional, behavioral, and health-related needs. We will use data, targeted supports, and continuous improvement to identify and remove barriers that may prevent students from thriving. Just as importantly, we will work to ensure that families understand the services available to them and know how to access support when it is needed.

Strong student outcomes are built through strong partnerships. I look forward to working alongside our students, families, educators, and community partners as we continue developing a connected, equitable, and student-centered system of support throughout Lancaster County School District.
