Reminder: schools re-open January 25th

Updated January 22, 2021

As you know, school resumes on Monday, January 25, 2021.   Elementary students will attend Monday through Thursday for four days per week for students who are not fully virtual. Middle school and high school students who are not fully virtual will attend on the A/B schedule — either Monday/Tuesday or Wednesday/Thursday. The flex day is on Friday.

We would caution you to be extra careful monitoring symptoms such as congestion, fever, shortness of breath, or stomach virus symptoms. If your student has any of these symptoms, please do not send them to school.

If your student has been exposed to an individual who has tested positive or if any member of the home is symptomatic or awaiting test results, then your student may not report to school.

As we return from this virtual week, everyone must be extra cautious. Please do not send your child to school if they have symptoms or are waiting on a COVID test result or if a member of the home is symptomatic or awaiting COVID test results.  Also, do not send your child to school if they have been in contact with anyone who has tested positive for COVID-19/Coronavirus.

If in doubt, please contact your school’s nurse or your child’s teacher before sending your student to school. It would be better to have them remain at home until you are sure they should attend.

Thanks so much for your continued support as we navigate these challenging times.
