Teamwork earns food service managers first place

The district’s food service managers took first place in the Wreath Design competition during the School Nutrition Association Conference at Myrtle Beach in October.
The district’s managers contributed money for the supplies used by Lancaster High cafeteria manager Rhonda Evans and Southside Early Childhood Center cafeteria manager Rachel Foster to create the wreath.
“Our district’s food service managers are a great team,” food services director Angela McCrorey said. “Their work to win the wreath competition reflects the way they always work together to make sure our students get well-balanced, nutritious, great-tasting meals day in, day out. I’m very proud of them.”
The wreath is on display in the district office.
