Club wins 19 state & international awards

     The Lancaster High Junior Civitans Club won an impressive 19 awards in both state and international competitions, including the club’s 25th International Club of the Year Award.
     The awards included the honor of being named an International Honor Club of Distinction.
     The club also won the 2015 S.C. and International Club of the Year, and it swept S.C. and International awards for both the Junior Civitan Environmental Project and the On-Going Project of the Year.
     The club also received a State Foundation Award for Donations to the Civitan International Research Center.
     On the state level, the club received the award for 2014 Environmental Project of the Year, First Place for Selection Collection and the Most Service Hours Award.
     “We are very proud of this chapter,” board chair Bobby Parker said, “and we truly appreciate such dedication by the club and its adviser, Richard Gay.”
