Students score perfect on PASS

Three students achieved perfect scores on the science and social studies sections of the S.C. Palmetto Assessment of State Standards Test (PASS).
“Congratulations again to all these students. A perfect score was no easy task,” Board of Trustees chair Bobby Parker said. “Their dedication to their schoolwork is obvious, and we look forward to seeing more great things from them in years to come.”
Two students scored perfect on the science section
– Zachary Blackwelder, Indian Land Elementary seventh grader
– Hunter Snipes, McDonald Green Elementary fifth grader
One student scored perfect on the social studies section
– Virginia Walker, A.R. Rucker Middle seventh grader
PASS tests in English, Math and Writing were not given to students as the state transitioned to the ASPIRE tests.
