Construction to begin once contract is finalized

February 16, 2018
The school board approved intent to award the contract for the new Indian Land High to Cleveland Construction during the board/superintendent planning meeting Feb. 3
“Being able to include all the alternates in the new Indian Land High project will be a big plus as we continue to work to address growth in the northern part of our district,” superintendent Jonathan Phipps said. “We’re so blessed the people of our county realize how important quality school facilities are to a school environment, making our schools places where it easier for students to learn and teachers to teach.”
Construction will begin after the contract is finalized. By state law, the district must hold a 15-day protest period for bidders before the contract is awarded.
