Friday, Jan. 21 - eLearning day

Due to the threat of inclement weather, tomorrow,  Friday, January 21, 2022, will be an e-learning day for all Lancaster County School District schools and offices. Again, due to the threat of inclement weather, all schools and offices will be virtual on Friday, January 21, 2022.

Most employees will work remotely, but some employees need to report to their work location rather than remain virtual.  Their supervisor will provide more directions for the employees who need to report.

After careful consideration and an abundance of caution, the district has decided to switch to a virtual learning day for all students and staff tomorrow, Friday, January 21, 2022. Please look for more information from your child’s school and individual teacher for what this means for your student.  All after-school and extracurricular activities will also be canceled for Friday, January 21, 2022.

We understand that with this type of weather, there is the potential for loss of power and internet service, which would impact the ability to access virtual learning. If you should have a power or internet outage, please know that we will work with your student to address missed assignments. Above all else, please take all precautions to remain safe during this weather event.

There will not be Covid testing at Indian Land Elementary tomorrow, Friday, January 21, 2022. Testing will begin 5-days a week Monday at Lancaster Multipurpose Building. Check the district website for full details.

Please check our website and your student’s google classroom and school email for more information.  Again, your student should refer to their google classroom and school email account.
