SC DHEC’s Test to Stay (TTS) program allows students and staff exposed to a COVID-19 infected person to stay in the classroom and avoid quarantine. The individual must be tested 5 days after the close contact. If the individual tests negative, they can remain in school as long as they have no symptoms and wear a mask through Day 10.

SC DHEC has provided the LCSD with free rapid at-home-test kits for each student.  The kit includes 2 tests.

To request a test, please contact your child’s school.  Parents will need to pick the test up from the child’s school.
