The Lancaster County School District Board of Trustees has retained the South Carolina School Boards Association (SCSBA) to assist in their search for a new superintendent. The Board of Trustees seeks input from district and community stakeholders as an essential element of the search process.

SCSBA staff will be facilitating one-hour focus group meetings for community stakeholders, teachers and staff to gather input for the superintendent search and to present a brief overview of the process. The dates and times of the focus groups are listed below.

– Community Meetings:
Monday, May 22
• Indian Land High School gym – 6 p.m.
• Buford Multipurpose Building – 6 p.m.

Tuesday, May 23
• Andrew Jackson Multipurpose building (also known as AJ VPAC) – 6 p.m.
• Lancaster High School auditorium 6 p.m.

– Teacher and Staff Meetings:  These meetings will be held at the District Office, 300 S. Catawba St., Lancaster:
Monday, May 22
• District office staff – 1-2 p.m.
• Assistant principals – 2-3 p.m.
• Teacher representatives – 3-4 p.m.

Tuesday, May 23
• Principals – 11 a.m. – 12 p.m.
• Senior cabinet – 1-2 p.m.
