Rodman, St. John earn spots on state’s top team

      Two Indian Land High cross-country runners earned a place the S.C. Class AA All-State Cross Country Team after the State Championships in November.
      •       Tenth grader Austin St. John led the boys team to an 11th place finish out of 24 teams in the state championship race.
           Austin finished fourth overall in the race with a time of 16:43.58, and he’s only the third boy in school history to make the All-State team. He was also named Region 4-AA Champion.
      •       Seventh grader Kaitlyn Rodman led the girls team to a 10th place finish out of 19 teams in the state championship race and posted her best time of the season – 20:01.29.
           Kaitlyn finished seventh overall in the race.
