The Rambler, Lancaster High’s yearbook, was selected by the S.C. Scholastic Press Association as the Best Yearbook in South Carolina for All Classes for 2010 during the SCSPA Fall Conference in Columbia.

The Rambler also won the Palmetto Award for Class III, which recognizes the best yearbook in each classification.

  • The yearbook staff also took second place for Best Theme Development.
  • Rambler staff member Glen Cranmer took second place in the Best Feature Photo category.
  • Staff member Julius Hood took third place in the Best Sports Photo category.

Also during the conference, members of Lancaster High’s literary arts magazine Callisto won three awards.

  • Staff member Jenna Deaton won third place for Best Nonfiction Article.
  • Staff member Jacob Weisner won third place for Best Poem.
  • Staff members Katherine Lalla & Glen Cranmer won third place for Best Spread Design.
