Clinton Elementary transitions to virtual learning

At this time, Clinton Elementary is experiencing a severe shortage of faculty and staff due to COVID-19. We have over 16 staff members out and we are unable to utilize our cafeteria. Because we are so short-staffed, it limits our ability to respond to possible emergencies that may arise and to cover the cafeteria as well as classes effectively.

To ensure our students and staff are as safe as possible, we are transitioning to an online learning model for all Clinton Elementary School students starting Tuesday, Feb. 2 until Friday, Feb. 12, 2021. Monday, Feb. 15 is a teacher workday, students do not report to school.

Students will resume face-to-face instruction on Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2021.

Meals will be available for pick-up at A.R. Rucker Middle from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. both Fridays, Feb. 5 & 12.

As always, the safety of our students and staff is our top priority. Thank you for your understanding and for your unwavering support of Clinton Elementary. If you should have any questions or concerns, please contact your child’s teacher.
