All BES students will transition to virtual learning beginning tomorrow Wednesday, Jan. 27 through Monday, Feb. 8.
At this time, students will return to in-person instruction on Tuesday, Feb. 9. We have learned this afternoon that the number of faculty and staff who are out this week and next due to Covid – 19 surpasses our ability to cover classes and provide a safe learning environment.
This transition to virtual learning for all students means that students will not come to Buford Elementary School’s campus. All students will use their district-issued device to log in to their teacher’s Google Classroom during regular school hours on Monday – Thursday (Jan. 27 – Feb. 8). Students are expected to log into instruction each day. This is only for Buford Elementary School.
Kindergarten and first-grade students will also be able to log in to their teacher’s daily instruction using their district-issued device or a personal device through Google Classroom. More details will be sent by classroom teachers that are specific to your child’s classroom.
If your child left items they will need for instruction at school (their charger), please contact your child’s teacher immediately on the classroom communication app.
All students may pick up meals for this week on Friday, January 29 and Friday, February 5 at Buford Elementary School from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
