Response to Media Request

The following message was provided to media on September 12, 2025 in response to a media request:

"The Lancaster County School District has received a complaint regarding a recent social media post by an employee. The employee has been placed on administrative
leave while the matter is reviewed in accordance with board policy, established procedures, and legal requirements. Interim steps consistent with district protocol have
been taken, including temporary measures to ensure due process and maintain normal school operations.
Student and staff safety remains our highest priority. We want to reassure our community that due to the temporary measures put in place there has been no noticeable disruption to school operations, nor a noticeable increase in student absenteeism as a result of this matter. Although we are

not aware of any threats to students or staff related to this situation, we encourage anyone with concerns about safety or the learning environment to report them
immediately.
The District does not comment on individual personnel matters. However, we recognize the importance of transparency and remain committed to keeping the community informed, as appropriate, while also protecting the rights and legal safeguards afforded to all employees.
Our focus continues to be on providing a professional, respectful, and supportive learning environment for every student. We appreciate the community’s trust as we address this matter with fairness, integrity, and the highest regard for school safety."
