LCSD Metal Detector Policy
Per Lancaster County School District: As part of our continued commitment to student safety and in response to the input we've heard from parents and our community, we will begin implementing a new touchless security screening system called EVOLV at each of our middle and high schools. Parents, in order to have the bus riders and car riders prepared in the morning this is a great time to clean out backpacks. Please leave all unnecessary items at home. In the morning, please remind your child to remove their Chromebooks, 3-ring binders (spiral notebooks are fine), water bottles, glass and umbrellas from their backpack prior to arriving at school.
