Exciting news! QCRA is adding two new FRC teams for the upcoming FIRST® FRC competition season, one co-ed and one all-girls team. Any families with girls interested in the all-girls team can email Team 3506 YETI Robotics at yetirobotics@gmail.com for more information. Families with students interested in the co-ed team can come to the Team 2724 Avalanche Robotics open house at The Zone this Saturday, July 12, from 11 AM-1 PM or email info@queencityrobotics.org to learn more.

2025 Summer Reading Camp: Students worked hard during the month of June to continue to exercise their love of reading. Summer Reading Camp staff worked with students to build on their foundation knowledge helping them to become more comfortable, confident readers. The session ended with a glow party and a water field day. Students were given books to continue their reading for the remainder of the summer. School principals helped students celebrate their reading success, and students won prizes to celebrate meeting their summer goals.
