Students competed in a series of real-world challenges—including written testing, grass/weed/pest identification, equipment and disorder identification, and a team rotation on pesticide safety and application.

Matt Hilsmier and Anna Henson, School District Mental Health Counselors/Social Workers, spent their day off this week conducting a day of Mindset Safety Management training with our district's School Resource Officers from the Lancaster County Sheriff's Department. The SROs were taught de-escalation and crisis intervention techniques utilized by school district employees.
The day sparked many collaborative conversations between professionals who are committed to keeping our students and staff safe and supported.
We look forward to our continued partnership throughout all the schools in our county.

Congratulations to Joseph Orama, who will represent Lancaster County in the Southern Region Jr. High Mixed Honor Choir in Memphis, TN!
