2025 Summer Reading Camp: Students worked hard during the month of June to continue to exercise their love of reading. Summer Reading Camp staff worked with students to build on their foundation knowledge helping them to become more comfortable, confident readers. The session ended with a glow party and a water field day. Students were given books to continue their reading for the remainder of the summer. School principals helped students celebrate their reading success, and students won prizes to celebrate meeting their summer goals. Thank you to Founders Federal Credit Union and Promise Neighborhood for partnering with us!

Upcoming Lancaster County School Board of Trustees Meeting: The regularly scheduled LCSD Board Meeting will be held at 7:00 p.m. on June 24, 2025. Prior to the meeting a Public Hearing on the 2025-2026 budget will be held at 5:30 p.m. followed by a Special Called Meeting at 6:00pm at 300 S. Catawba Street, Lancaster, SC.

A Public Hearing on the budget will be held on Tuesday, June 24, 2025 at 5:30 pm at 300 S. Catawba Street, Lancaster prior to the regularly scheduled board meeting.

Would your child like to participate in an inclusive adult-supervised after-school activity, a town recreation program, an activity at the YMCA or pursue a hobby?
TIES (Together Including Every Student) pairs trained LCSD student volunteers with students who have disabilities (from grade 3 to age 21) so they can successfully participate in inclusive school-related and community activities. Student volunteers are paired with participants based on similar interests and abilities.
We have trained the volunteers! Now, we need willing participants!!
