Certified Elections Results--School Bond


The Lancaster FFA Soil Judging Team placed 4th in the lower state soil judging competition on November 6th. The team advanced to the state Soil Judging CDE with a chance to clinch a spot in the National Land Judging Contest in Oklahoma. Team members are Clayton Hooks, Landon Bennett, Lexi Smith, Braiden Pardue, Drew Moore, and Gracee Trull.

AJMS Alumni, Wonza Johnson, currently on Broadway, returns to speak with Andrew Jackson Middle School 8th grade students
Wonza Johnson walked the halls of Andrew Jackson Middle School, but now performs on the biggest stages in New York on Broadway. During a unit on the seminal novel by S.E. Hinton, The Outsiders, 8th Grade ELA students in Mrs. Griffin’s and Mrs. Castellucci classes will get the opportunity to virtually talk to this AJMS Alumni about his work on Broadway. Mr. Johnson is currently starting in the Broadway premiere of The Outsiders, which is running at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre in New York City.
The Virtual Residency will take place on Monday, November 4, 2024 and will allow for students to understand different interpretations of this novel and how they are similar and different from Francis Ford Coppola’s landmark motion picture. AJMS is delighted to welcome Broadway Superstar, Mr. Wonza Johnson back to the FOCUS program to inspire and enrich the artistic and academic lives of our students.
