The Lancaster County School District Board of Trustees passed the Fiscal Year 2024-2025 General Fund Operating Budget at the June 25, 2024 Board Meeting. Navigate to https://5il.co/2q0k8 to review the presentation. FY 24-25 Budget Presentation
This impacted salaries as follows:
All teachers received a pay increase in the approved budget. Teachers receive the state mandated salary adjustments (most impact is to beginning teacher pay) as well as a step increase and a cost of living increase of 4.5%.
Bus drivers received an average of 13% increase with the beginning rate increasing by 14.7%, which includes the state mandate of 2.75% on all cells. Bus drivers that are eligible will also receive a step. Our beginning hourly rate increased from $17.14 per hour to $19.66 per hour in an effort to recruit and retain bus drivers.
Food Services employees received a $2.00 per hour increase on every Food Service cell plus an additional 4.5% Cost of Living increase.
All other employees will receive a step, if eligible, and a 4.5% Cost of Living increase.
