TEACHER INDUCTION SYMPOSIUM
The SCEA's Center for Educator Wellness and Learning (CEWL) hosts a yearly symposium aimed at supporting early career educators. We facilitate connection among beginning teachers and help equip, encourage, and empower them through this event. The 2024 Symposium will be held on November 9, 2024 from 10AM-3:30PM in Columbia, SC. This year's theme is "Officially Changing the Game."

Lancaster County School District will be closed on Friday, September 27, 2024, and we will have an eLearning day. We have been in contact with Emergency Management and the Governor has declared a State of Emergency. Due to threat of wind gusts exceeding the state regulations, busses will not be able to travel the roadways. As a safety precaution, ALL Lancaster County schools, buildings, and facilities will be closed on Friday, September 27, 2024. Lancaster County School District will have an Elearning day. You will receive eLearning information from your student’s school. ALL events and activities are canceled on Friday, September 27, 2024.
